QuestionDoes Beam 2 have the option to add a hardwired (RCA plug or speaker wires) subwoofer? I would be adding a JBL sub in case the brand matters.

- Answer It does not, all add ons are wireless as far as I know! Sonos Has a full lineup of add ons (but expensive)

QuestionI have two Sonos one (gen 2) and one Sonos five. Can they be connected to my tv without a sound bar?

- Answer Technically yes but it’s no the preferred setup. I did this in a pinch when my old PLAY:BAR had issues. I connected the PLAY:5 to the TV using a 3.5mm cable and pair it to my SUB. I then grouped it with a pair of PLAY:1 in the rear. This will only play in stereo, not surround sound.

- Answer Youll need HDMI eARC or an optical output to use this device. It comes with an optical to HDMI adapter.

QuestionConnection Help for Outdoor Covered Patio: I bought the Beam(Gen 2) to mount underneath a TV, along with the Sonos Amp and Ceiling Speakers. The Amp will be inside. Will Beam connect/sync with the Amp through the app or do I need to somehow connect it?

- Answer I’m pretty sure you will need to hardwire both products to your network switch to pair the AMP and BEAM.

QuestionI have a Sonos Arc in my living room and I was thinking about getting a Sonos Beam Gen 2 and using if for my rear speakers? Will it work? That way I will have Dolby Atmos in front with my Arc and Beam Gen 2 for my rear if possible.

QuestionI get this occasional loud pulsating machine gun noise where I then have to disconnect the power and then turn it back on to make the noise stop. It has happened since I purchased this unit a few months ago. Is this fixable? Thanks.

- Answer Nope. Sonos connects via your Wifi not by bluetooth or wired connection to the sound bar.
