Playbar should pair/sync up easily with your existing remote. The Playbar doesnt even come with a remote so they are confident it will work. Synced up quick and easy with my Sony Bravia TV

When you set up the Sonos PlayBar with your smart phone, It will walk you through how to setup the Samsung remote to control the volume. Works fine with my Samsung remote.
