A:AnswerWe had the same concern, so I called Sonos directly about a month ago. They informed me that they have discontinued the matte black and are only producing them in glossy black or glossy white. We're over it now as it is otherwise a clean, sleek modern design.
A:AnswerHi, and thank you for your question. Unfortunately our SUB will not connect to a receiver. It will only connect wirelessly with other Sonos products!
A:AnswerYes you can. When you're in the Sonos app, you can look through the advanced settings and click on the sub level. from there you can scale it up or down.
A:AnswerThe fact that Sonos won't publish power should make you suspect. I don't know of any other real subwoofer company (I'm not going to include Bose because it shouldn't be considered with the others I'm about to list) that doesn't list power. I'm talking about PSA, JTR, Rythmik, Hsu, SVS, Monolith, Arendal, etc. They all list power. I'm not saying this doesn't play well but why not list the power?
