If your tv has Bluetooth I would imagine they should work. If you want to use the headphone speaker jack, they will shut off and work fine without using power. The connection on something like a PS3 console is easy, but the console will only allow use of the microphone and headset for chatting during a game. I could not get mine to work for DVD playback on the console either. I plugged them in via the jack and it was great.

Below are the compatible BLUETOOTH profiles: A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile), AVRCP (Audio Video Remote Control Profile), HFP (Hands-free Profile) andHSP (Headset Profile). Please check the specifications of your TV. Thanks! ^Ron

Please try again later.if your TV can pair with other bluetooth device, then i am assuming yes. the pairing process is nothing different than others. i guess that you don't want a cable. there is no base, but only a hard shell case containing the folded headphone for travel.
