I don't know why not. They charge just fine on either a 500mA or a 1A charger. Most power banks can handle that easily.

While I realize it could have just been a defective pair, I have read some forum posts mentioning the headphones have some features if you want to call them that, that can make charging stop if it doesn't meet its ideal standards.
