“How badly do these leak sound? In other words, how much can other people hear what you are listening to? (I'm not referring to how they cancel noise for the listener)”

My 3 year old still sleeps in the bed with my wife and me. I use these while watching movies in bed while she is sleeping and they do not disturb her one bit.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I AM 56 YEARS OLD, AND MY HEARING IS AVERAGE FOR MY AGE. I LISTEN TO THESE HEADPHONES AT A MODERATE TO HIGH LEVEL, AND YOU HAVE TO BE WITHIN 4 FEET OF ME TO HEAR MY MUSIC OUTSIDE THE EARCUP, AND EVEN THEN, YOU HEAR VERY LITTLE.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ambient noise is cut out, and people trying to get your attention sound muffled, sometimes drowned out by your audio. Perfect to isolate the room conversations you want to hear and don't want to hear - just hold your hand over the right muff and the headset brings outside sound in via mic to speakers (attenuates your audio). Battery life seems long - it's always on high haven't had to charge yet. Wish it came with a real manual - I assume they want you to charge from computer but I'd rather from the power strip (from a store bought USB adapter) but a little afraid to considering the cost. Folds into a nice hardened zip up carry case that fits in a purse or travel bag. There are two buttons for noise canceling and ambient sounds, which I thought was interesting but as for me when I need them - I want isolation (but it's good to know I can use them for other things).
