I bought these because I travel on planes about twice a week and I wanted to drown out the engine noise. I can't speak to using them at a gun range, but the noise cancellation is enough to drown out almost all engine noise, especially if you're actively playing music. Overall, I'd imagine they'll easily serve the purpose you're looking to use them for.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Will probably not well, since they are not hearing protection...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would not recommend them for this purpose, they not designed for this in mind. Plus, these are pretty darn expensive headphones to be taking out to the range. I'd recommend a pair of Howard Leight Impact electronic noise muffler. They are under $100 and designed for this purpose, although, there are better for slightly more.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I found the fit to be good and tight with the default ear piece so a lot of ambient sound will be cut out, but this is not designed for handgun ear protection. There are 4 more sizes in case default does not fit you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hey Rick, Mine came with multiple attachments to choose from that go into your ear. The one I use eliminates most outside noises so that I can listen without interruption. I've never used them at a gun range, but I feel like they would block noise as well as those foam earplugs.
