- Answer Very subjective, and depends a lot on the level you will be playing at to fill your room with quality sound. Try to buy where you can listen to different speakers first. This receiver can easily power 1000$ worth of speakers in 5.1 use.

- Answer It can if you run it in a 5.2 mode and not 7.2. That will give you A B speakers. Run the B outside

QuestionDo you know if this has any "auto-on" sensing capability? I want to use this as a secondary amp in a whole home setup, where it turns on when an input is sensed? I hate the idea of powering an amp when there is no output coming out.

QuestionWill this receiver work with speaker towers and front and rear speakers as well as a subwoofer that are 30 years old and sold for over $1000 back then? Someone told me it would not work, were they right?

- Answer LOL They'll work, it'll just reduce the rated output per channel. I assume they're 8 ohms so instead of a "realized" 135 watts per channel you'll realize say 110 watts per channel.

- Answer With that system you do not need an additional receiver. The Blu-Ray player has receiver capabilities. The speakers simply plug into the back of the Blu-Ray player and you're good to go.

QuestionI am huge fan of Karaoke. I am also trying to purchase Visio wireless speaker system. Can i hook up my laptop to run karaoke song to Karaoke Mixer and music system to receive together so all music synchronize together?
