Hello there, You would have to purchase a Lightning to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter or USB-C to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter or a hub (depending on your i/o), as most Apple products do not come with a dedicated headphone jack for wired headphones. TAKEN FROM EveryMac.com: Some MacBook Air models have USB 2.0 ports and others have USB 3.0 ports, it is important to identify your MacBook Air correctly before buying a USB hub. A USB 2.0 hub still will work with a USB 3.0-equipped MacBook Air, but it will be slower. HOPE THIS HELPS, SprungDJ
