“How do you get the on screen display (OSD) to show up from the soundbar to the TV when watching from 4k/enhanced devices? It works fine when watching from 1080p devices.”

You'd have to be using the ARC input on your TV to the Output on your soundbar. There is a setting for the 4k HDR in the menu screen on the soundbar to enable 4k HDR for certain inputs.
