Source material. It's an average soundbar for TV and music, but watching a movie on DVD or Blu-ray is outstanding! IT all depends on what our watching. I have a DISH Hopper 3, and for most TV there's very little bass, but movies and 5.1 broadcasts are great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Do you have the volume up to 12 for the subwoofer? It is not super loud. I purchased another subwoofer and hooked it up to the tv with an digital to analog converter. I hope this helps you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think it all depends on the settings. Make sure night mode is off. Movie mode is on and sub volume up. Also try using a optical cable from the source to the bar if you are not already.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I noticed that too when I first plugged it in and thought something was wrong. However, it depends on what the broadcast is... movies from Apple TV the subwoofer picked up the lows and there was a noticeable difference. If you use bluetooth to stream music via Tidal or other high def service, the subwoofer and system is amazing... So, don't let the TV broadcasted lows get you down, it's designed for more... try Tidal and HD Movies/HD Sound and you'll see the difference. I am glad I kept it because I use it for more music Just my 2 cents...
