• The soundbar turns off when we turn off the tv. We do have to turn it on separately but it may be the way we have it set up.

• My sound bar will turn of automatically a few seconds or minutes (I never timed it) after you turn off the tv. So if it is the same, you are ok.

• My TV is the Sony XBR65X650D. My sound bar does go off when the TV is shut off. I do have a problem with lip sync constantly going out of sync.

• Hi Nalani, yes. This soundbar is compatible with the XBR75X940D. There is a setting that you can adjust to turn both the TV and the soundbar off and on at the same time. We do not suggest to leave it on all the time. Thanks, -Mark
