A:AnswerHi James, The antennas are needed to provide signal to the receiver. The receiver is already supplied with the necessary antennas for the tuner feature. You may refer to page 17 of this link for more information:

A:AnswerDo you need the display? Are you tuning in FM stations or just listening to CD's or the like? If it serves its purpose live with it because repairing it will be far more than just replacing it.
A:AnswerI'm guessing the same channel (left or right) is working and you've blown the other channel either by overloading it or mismatched speakers. Are all four speakers 8 ohm or 4 ohm? You can tell on the back where the wires connect. It should say. If one set of speakers is 4 or 8 ohm and the other set is 6 ohm that's the problem and I'm surprised the entire amp didn't blow. 4 and 8 ohm are compatible in any combination but 6 ohm speakers (rare) can ONLY be paired with other 6 ohm speakers.
A:AnswerNeither will make it "louder". Watts don't mean loud either. I own this amp and it's not particularly an efficient and powerful amp but serves my purposes. If you want just raw power you'll need to buy a different amp. I suggest going to the store and listening to amps played through speakers similar to yours.
A:AnswerHi Elog, please refer to pg.30 of the link below for possible troubleshooting steps to fix this issue. I hope it helps. If the problem still persists, a service maybe required. Regards, ^Ron

A:AnswerPlain and simple. The ones that sound best to you. I would recommend 8 ohm speakers to drain less powere but you really need to listen to the speakers you want to buy.
Remember, you can't hear a spec sheet.
A:AnswerIf the speaker cones haven't dry rotted already they will play. Talk about retro, throwback, old school back in the day. Tandy speakers are probably worth more as antiques than they are worth listening to.
A:AnswerYes - your turntable should already have the phono pre-amp to be able to output the signal to your computer, but to amplify the sound you will need a receiver/amplifier and suitable speakers. All the best.
A:AnswerHi Me, The receiver is only designed for a wired speaker connection. You may check on this link for more information:

A:AnswerYou need a "tuner" which is just that
It tunes in AM/FM but must be connected to an amplifier. Don't bother wasting your money at this level of audio equipment. Buy this "receiver" (tuner/amp all in one) and you'll be very pleased.
A:Answerno. the volume is adjustable to meet the sound. all cds and dvds and radio are at different volumes, thus you adjust the volume to meet your needs.
