Typically the TV will display whatever the input source is feeding it even though it may upscale it to 1080P. Perhaps your set top box is set to display in "native" mode meaning it allows the TV to do the upscaling. Most networks only broadcast in 1080i or 720P (thus the display if the set top box is set to "native". Check the settings on your set top box to see what resolution you want it to display.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I HAVE ATT UVERSE. I HAD TO USE THE ATT REMOTE TO GET THE 1080 RECEPTION. IT IS IN MENU OPTIONS AND YOU CHOOSE THE 1080 RESOLUTION.
