- Answer Yes, all you have to do is go to settings and dont click on closed caption on mute...Look at your instruction manuel.

QuestionI wanted to know if you plug in headphones, do the TV speakers cut off automatically or can you have sound still in both? Also, does the volume on the TV control the audio level in the headphones or is this set a fixed level volume?

QuestionWhen I checked through the questions and went to look for a "VESA Hole Pitch 7 7/8 x 7 7/8 in (200 x 200 mm)" I could not find one, And although I haven't bought this product yet I would still like to wallmount it if I do buy it for someone or myself.

- Answer I too went a little crazy trying to figure out how to mount it. I even called Sony and they told me the only Mount you could use was there mount. I knew this was incorrect. The directions literally such as far as putting on a mount for wall mounting. Then I realized in my Hardware it was a small package that is used for the lower attachment. Unfortunately I forgot exactly what it is but it looks like little cylinders period after you mount the TV with that it's good to go for any wall mount
