Hi Robert, When streaming internet video channel, a minimum Internet connection speed of 2.5 Mbps or higher is required for standard-definition (SD) programming and 10 Mbps or higher is required for high-definition (HD) programming. -Jerome

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sony recommends 5mbps download speeds (at least) for streaming 480p content, and 10mbps for HD. Download Speedtest app on your phone and test it out for yourself. Also be mindful of your smartphone's data plan cap or limits, as HD video is very likely to burn through your data like no tomorrow!
