• Hi Cody, thanks for your question. You can use this TV without connecting to the internet if you will use it and watch cable TV or from an external device, you can choose Basic TV when you set up your Google TV. Only pre-installed apps on your TV are available and you can't install other apps. I hope this helps. Erin
