“When it says it has a stand width of 32 in. exactly what does that mean? The width of the table I want to put this TV on in exactly 32 in. Will this TV work for me? Thank you”

Hi Helen, thank you for your inquiry. It actually means it is the measurement between the legs of the supplied TV stand/legs and not the width of the table. And the width of the TV stand is approximately 26 1/4 inches so it will definitely fit on your 32 inch table. Hope this helps! -Sam
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Not sure where you are taking the reference from, however, the measurement from center point of the stands to center point is 28 inches. The answer is yes, it would fit, however, the tv would overhang by 3 inches on each side.
