“Why does my sony x85j give me a lesser quality resolution when watching netflix or any videos, movies, etc. Instead of 4k, it only seems to show 1080p, i have tried it on netflix and youtube. The quality never chances.?”

To watch 4K videos when streaming Netflix, Youtube, or any streaming apps that supports 4K streaming, please check the following: -To enjoy 4K content with some services such as Netflix, you must subscribe to a specific plan to receive 4K content. -You must also select a content or title that supports 4K (UHD). -If your network is not fast enough, you cannot enjoy 4K content at it's best quality. Make sure you have a steady internet connection speed of 25 megabits per second or higher. The required settings depend on the streaming service. For details, refer to the help site of your service. -The streaming quality must be set to High or Auto in the playback settings of your Netflix profile. -Make sure the firmware of your TV is updated to the latest version.
