• A:Answer I believe the first answer above (12 months) is correct for this model. There are some models on the Sony website that appear to now have an 18 month warranty but the detailed information is confusing. I'd assume 12 months, and again, I recommend as much Geek Squad protection as possible.

• A:Answer No. Plugging in a headphone will cut off the TV's speakers. TV speakers can only be used at the same time with speakers connected to the optical cable jack.
