“I just want a cd recorder that will record a program while I watch something else, then play back what I recorded. Just like it used to be with VHS players.”

Hello NancyM! The recording capabilities of this unit are limited only to record files from a CD disc to a USB memory device, it will not allow you to have the audio sent from an external source to this unit.~Jeannette
