• It does has analog audio out put, but it only work for my DVD surround sound,so I bought digital converter, cost about $30 at Best Buy, and plug my analog cables into converer and used optical cable to plug into optical port on TV. Work like a charm

• Yes. I have the same issue with a 25 year old receiver. There is a mini-jack earphone out jack which I connect to my stereo. You will need a mini-jack-to-RCA plug cord to do it .
