No. A8H was not designed and marketed to gamers. This tv is meant for AV enthusiasts and non-technical viewers who want great picture at a great value but gaming is not a priority. Those with game consoles who need tv/monitor to display every last detail from the device would be better served with another model.

Hello, There is much confusion about the HDMI versions and concerns about compatibility. For this reason, we do not promote the HDMI versions incorporated on many of our products. Instead, we advertise the features of a product that are associated with a particular HDMI version. The A8H supports the HDMI eARC, which is one of the HDMI 2.1 standard features. If you are looking for a Bravia the supports more HDMI 2.1 standard features, check out our XBR-X900H series or our Z8H series. I hope this helps! -Vincent
