We went to a 2 TV household and decided to go the OLED route. We are impressed with our LED Sony XBR 65Z9D so stayed with the brand. The A8H is easy to set up. The picture quality is fantastic. It almost looks like 3D in some scenes. It has plenty of tweaks to customize the picture to your environment and preferences. The sound is great, coming from the screen. Sony processors do a great job upscaling content to provide the best picture. We are not gamers so cannot comment on gamer concerns. Regular TV viewing looks natural and smooth. OLED Pros: You don’t lose much picture quality with off center viewing. Thin and light Cons: Still a bit pricy, but coming down. Risk of burn in, they say.

This TV is amazing. My first 55" Sony 4k OLED tv. After about two months of use I can say this TV has little to no flaws. The induction speakers (the sound comes though the screen, no visible speakers) sound great. The colors are amazing. The setup is quick and easy. Best part is that the Android Tv OS is fast and responsive. Casting is easy and setting up Google assistant is easy. The remote is great. Has a dedicated "TV" button that can be reassigned. I assigned it turn on my PS5. It controls my Sony soundbar, and gaming system. The color science is unmatched blacks are crazy black and the colors are super vibrant. It has a calibrated netflix mode thats great. The sound profiles are awesome. Dolby atmos support is great for all streaming platforms. There are so many features it's kinda overwhelming. Overall I'm extremely happy with this TV.

I have had this TV for one month so here is my experience with the Sony 55" A8H. Application selection/loading is easy. I don't have a cable TV subscription but I use streaming apps like Netflix, Prime, HBO Max and Disney. App performance is excellent. If you use VPN you can add the TV to your VPN services. I have attached a Polk soundbar but I use it only when I want an immersive kind of movie experience. I needed the soundbar for my previous TV because I could not get the baseline that I like on the audio, but I don't have that issue with this TV so frequent use of the soundbar is not necessary. Wall mounting was not possible so I mounted the Bravia on a Perlesmith Universal Swivel TV base so that I could use my existing corner TV stand. Set up instructions stipulate that you need two people to lift this. Yes, you do need two people because you cannot risk damage to the screen and the TV is simply too big/awkward to lift by yourself if you are short (like me). Apart from having to call a friend to lift the Bravia onto the TV stand, the set up was easy, the TV itself is beautiful, the picture is outstanding and and the sound is satisfying. I am watching WAY to much TV.

So far, I am very pleased with the performance, quality, and picture of this television. Colors are bright, vibrant, and deep blacks. Exceptional Picture for High Definition and Standard Definition Content. Lovely deep blacks.Astonishing sound even without a sound bar. Android based operating system seems to be working great so far. Setup was pretty simple out of the box.

Sony TV is absolutely stunning. I already have a smaller version purchased in 2018 which I refused to leave behind when I moved from Hawaii to Washington state. This new OLED TV is mind-blowing. I can't say enough as to the picture quality. It has Chromecast built in and is compatible with Alexa and Google. You can see that the frame is really slim which adds to the overall experience. I had it delivered and installed by Best Buy and that service was quick and easy + the tech was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Side note: We don't wear shoes in the house in Hawaii and without asking, the tech put on paper booties at the doorway!

Bought online at my local Best Buy store and picked it up in the outside pick up area the next day...customer service was fast, friendly and helpful. This TV is excellent ....it was well packaged, easy to unpack and set up. The picture is crystal clear and the color is great..no adjustments needed. I’ve owned several Sony TVs because of their quality. This one did not disappoint. Its been a month since purchasing it and still love it.

This is top of the line OLED. Basically the best OLED you can buy right now. Is it worth the money? Oh yes it is. I use this tv for streaming movies and playing my PS5 and everything looks amazing without me even having to touch the settings. It looks and sounds amazing. I love the X1 processor, and the sound technology.

Excellent TV, I bought two of these and hung them up in my living room. The quality is phenomenal. I try watching on my older TVs and it’s such a difference that I actually choose to watch stuff downstairs despite not having a couch yet. Definitely try this out if you have the chance, I will probably be getting a 65 inch in the next 6 months too.

I LOVE THIS TV I HAVE HAD AN ORIGINAL SONY GOOGLE TV FOR 10 YEARS AND I ONLY UPGRADED TO THE SONY A8H 55 INCH CUZ I GOT THE NEW XBOX SERIES X AND PS5 PRE ORDERS AND ALSO I GOT THIS TV FOR $1299 WHICH WAS A CRAZY LOW "BLACK FRIDAY" WHICH IS $1000 OFF RETAIL PRICE OF $2299 YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS TV I LOVE SONY TVS THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN GREAT

Fantastic color and unbelievable clarity. Wanted to really test this technology for a fair price to get a true sense of it's potential. This is all a prelude to a larger center piece than the 77 inch. In the near future i will be adding this to an unreal system.

One of the Best Displays You Can Buy

I bought at a discounted price of $1499 (Originally $1899) and this display is amazing. It looks as if you are actually at the place when watching movies. Games that support HDR look fantastic as well. I mostly use it for gaming and watching videos and this display does both perfectly. It's peak brightness it is really bright in dark rooms and the Android OS is ships with is very smooth with no stutters. Though I do have an Apple TV hooked up to it that supports Dolby Vision HDR. I would highly recommend getting this model or the newer A80J when on discount especially for gaming!

I love my Sony A8H. I love is so much I purchased 2 at a great price. Got both on sale for $1197.98 each. Im using them to bring my sports watch to the next level. Awesome tv's and I control them via Alexa. Its just a beautiful thing.

Great tv… only thing with these new tv is old content doesn’t look so great. Saying that the picture on this tv is top notch. I can’t wait for Hollywood to catch up and start making movies that play well on 4K.

First one was purchased and after two weeks had two vertical lines on left side of screen. Returned and got another one has been perfect. Picture is outstanding. Motion flow is great.

Lucas was very helpful and professional. I had a lot of questions and he was able to answer all but one of them. The question I didn’t get answered was about did it have a pedestal or legs and if legs, how far apart were they. There was not a box in the store for what I purchased and as it turned out there was a picture of a pedestal on the box, but it had legs. Lucas had said he thought there were legs, but wasn’t sure how far apart they were. He showed me online what it said but it wasn’t clear as to what size of table I needed for the TV. We did not want to mount the TV on the wall.
