Yes. Audio return channel has stopped working twice in two weeks. TV is not even a month old. Contemplating a return. A huge disappointment.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have 4 month old XBR55A9G. It has been a terrible experience. The HTMIeARC is defective in a spooky way. The audio feedback to my receive just plain cuts out intermittently. I solved the problem by connecting the receiver to the audio out optical connection. Figuring out the settings is a challenge since they use an unfamiliar acronym. In fact I have had so much trouble with this quirky tv that I would have returned if I had kept the (BIG) box and not let Magnolia’s return period expire. To add insult to injury Sony’s Tech Support is not available ( due to the Corona virus, they say) and Best Buy has no free support. The ultimate answer is, don’t buy a Sony.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am NOT a tech person but I had the same issue with my internet connection freezing when watching programs through my Roku on my new Sony A9G Bravia OLED 4K and I never had this issue with my old television. I contacted Verizon Fios and their technician connected a small booster box to my internet connection inside my house. Apparently, between the new upgraded technology in the Sony A9G and the fact that my TV/WIFI router is located in my garage caused the issue. Unfortunately, the freezing problem continued the following week! I scheduled an appointment with the Best Buy Geek Squad. Within 5-10 minutes they changed the setting on my new Sony so the internet connection went through the new booster box that had been installed by the Fios technician a week earlier! Voila SUCCESS.....NO more freezing!!!
