Hello Tom, Thank you for your inquiry! Unfortunately, the TV stand of our BRAVIA XR-55A90J does not support narrow position. Below are the approximate widths of the stand: Standard Position: 50.47 inch (1,282 mm) Soundbar Position: 45.28 inch (1,150 mm) We highly recommend using a cabinet or stand that is wider than the width of the TV stand. You may also hang this TV like a work of art instead using our SU-WL855 wall-mount bracket or any VESA-complaint wall-mount bracket with a hole pitch of (W X H) 11.81 x 11.81 inch (300 x 300 mm).
