A few key differences between the A90J & the A80J are that the A90J can be used as a center channel in a surround sound system using a standard bare speaker wire connection, the A90J has a backlit remote, and XR OLED Contrast Pro vs XR OLED Contrast (non-pro) for A80J. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.BECAUSE OF THE BIG PRICE DIFFERENCE I WOULDN'T SAY SUPERIOR. BUT I DO LIKE THE PICTURE BETTER. IF I COULD HAVE GOT THE XR80J WHEN THEY HAD THE SALE ON THEM, I'D B HAPPY WITH IT.
