The remote included with the BRAVIA XR A95L OLED TV (2023) does feature a backlight, which is motion-sensitive and illuminates the keys when you pick it up in a dark room.
However, the remote for the 2023 A95L typically uses standard AAA batteries and is not USB rechargeable. USB charging was introduced on a newer "Eco Remote" for some of our subsequent models, but the A95L remote uses replaceable batteries.
