Not much. The L version is brighter due to the next generation qd oled panel but both have a great picture. Once you get to use the tv it is very easy to move around with the installed software. Both models have many applications that can be downloaded. Once the application is loaded it is accessible on your Home Screen. myself prefer the L version due to its brightness but whatever you select I do not think you will be disappointed.
