“Can you hook in an old VCR/DVD player to one of these newer sets?”

• Hello JudyK53, From what I see on my new Sony TV, which has HDMI, Composite Video, and RCA Jack connectivity, I'd venture to say that you can hook up a VCR/DVD player to these TVs. Most of the older players have RCA Jacks, in which you'll have an AUDIO L & R which are red and white and a Video Jack which is yellow. My new TV has these jacks. I can't guarantee this will work for you, but from what I'm seeing, I'd think you could. Best to ask a sales associate from Best Buy or contact customer support from the brand you're considering. One thing to note... Not all of the new TVs have all the inputs that I've mentioned. Be sure it has the connections you need to connect your player before you buy it. I hope this helps... Bo
