Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You may try checking the timer menu. The TV has a feature that both allows you to choose a time for the TV to "go to sleep" and a separate option to "turn the TV on". If someone accidentally set the "turn TV on" for two hours instead or "turn tv off for 2 hours" that would be the problem. Good luck and if you do have return it, deal directly with a store and not best buy's terrible hotline. (This was my experience.)
