Thanks. My old unit was 50”. The mount screw pattern on the 55” is exactly the same.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The question I would ask is whether the opening in your entertainment center is large enough for a 54" TV. That said, it has a variety of screw mount points. If your old Sony TV works with your mount there is no reason to think this one would not. Interestingly, though this 54" TV is substantially larger then my old 46", I could perceive no difference in the weight. I was able to mount it to the stand with little difficulty, once I figured out how it worked. But if you're mounting it on a wall I suggest that you get a friend to help you. These things are fragile and need to be handled with care.

This TV has its own dedicated wall mount which we recommend for full compatibility and safety. You may check this link for more information on the wall mount for this model: https://docs.sony.com/release//Manual_C644100121.pdf Thanks, -Mark
