I also have an older high-end amplifier that does not know about digital - so I purchased a cable that uses the 1/8" headphone jack on the Sony TV, and it "Y"s to two separate RCA cables, that you can then connect to the input of your receiver. An example is the Audio Quest Evergreen 3.5mm stereo (mini-phone) to RCA cable found at Best Buy: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/audioquest-evergreen-3-3-analog-interconnect-cable-green/2926058.p?skuId=2926058 I Love Audio Quest cables, and am a big fan of this one!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes and no. Yes. There is one analog audio output on a mini-jack. It’s green. If you need only a left/right stereo input to the receiver, then use this with a mini-jack to RCA converter cable. If you need more than that going in to the Onkyo, then no.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You won't enjoy surround sound with RCA plugs. Sure the TV has an audio out but it's designed to work with HDMI to the receiver. Consider upgrading your amp for this kind of set.
