A:Answer No. 3D TV sets appear to have died off back in 2016. For all the promotion the TV makers gave to 3D TV, it did not sell very well, probably because most persons did not want to invest in buying 3D Blu-ray discs and a 3D Blu-ray player. There was never any 3D programming on either broadcast or cable TV to really justify spending the extra $100, or more, to buy a 3D set. For the relatively few persons that did buy a 3D set, one it still able to buy a 3D capable Blu-ray player, and, it seems, Sony, Samsung and LG are including the 3D playback feature in their newer, top-of-the-line 4K Blu-ray players.
