“With stand attached, what does the gap between bottom of tv base & top of any tv stand measure? My sound bar is 3.5” tall. Or do I even need a soundbar with the improved sound in the 930E. Thanks”

I measure just a titch over 3"...so a sound bar wouldn't work. Not sure about your need, I run mine through a receiver with surround sound so I don't use the speaker on the TV.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have mine wall mounted and can't say much for the height, but I do not use my sound bar with this tv. The sound it produces is good enough for my needs. Much better than any tv I ha e ever owned.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The stand that came with my 930E elevates the base of the the TV 3 inches off of the table top. Plus it is 7/8 inch from the bottom of the set to bottom of the viewable screen. The stand also extends about 4.5 inches in front of the TV. I'm personally not a big audiophile, so I can't really give great advice on a upgraded sound systems. The system with the TV is pretty good. Your needs may be better served by upgrading to a soundbar.
