Hi TVGuys, Of course, it can be installed on a wall. Even though the TV weighs approximately 63 lbs, the back panel which connects to the wall-mount is designed to carry the TV's weight. Just make sure to follow the proper way of installing the TV on a wall. https://us.en.kb.sony.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/63990/p/61659,95543,96665,96666/c/65,66/kw/wall-mount -Jerome
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes I have. Make sure you have the proper mounting bracket. The Type I used wall mounting bracket had a wide range of mounting holes to make sure you are bolting to a stud. Then the TV was placed on the wall mounting bracket and could be adjusted right or left to center in the space you selected [above fireplace]. The brackets mounted to the set had levers to lock the set in place
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had mine wall mounted without problems when it was first delivered. I soon bought a tilt / swivel TV stand though as all the connections are in the back and impossible to get too when it is wall mounted. I had to get a neighbor to help me remove it from the wall and install on my new stand , it's not possible to lift it alone. If you wall mount it you will need to make all connections before it is mounted.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. I used a VideoSecu MW380B3 Full Motion Articulating TV Wall Mount Bracket for this TV. It works great. If you need to pull it out even further, then I would recommend the Unibrak UNB 550 Dual Arm Articulating Cantilever LCD Plasma LED LFD TV Wall Mount. I have two of these for my larger panels. I can stand on the end with it fully extended and it holds me (200 lbs) no problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mines hanging on the wall and there's no problem with the weight.
