Hi Dan, Thank you for your inquiry. The X80J are compatible with Android phones. However, may we know what do you want to do on the TV using your phone for better assistance? The X80J TV has preinstalled apps such as YouTube, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, etc. Also, many of the existing apps can be downloaded using the built-in Google Play Store by simply connecting the TV to the internet.
