“Will this big tv fit a media center that is 65" wide,24"deep ?? Is the tv stand on it sturdy enough ? In the picture it looks rather fragile ??? We don't want to want to wall mount it.”

Yes, remember that the 60" measurement on the tv is diagonal, corner to corner. The tv weighs 45 pounds according to specs, so be sure that your media center will support the weight. The tv stand that comes with the tv is sturdy. We used that instead of a wall mount and have it on a media center with the following dimensions: 24 in H x 58 in W x 20 in D
