No, it' not hdr. Also, I'm having problems with the motion flow. Rethink your choice.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.HDR this model cannot do since some what dark and inability to get bright enough or for peaks unless something in a update fix that: motion flow most of the motion adjustments on TVs, to me suck, I do not usually use them but did try Sony's Motion flow Custom Smoothness I set to Max or what you like but that is what I tried - clearness left min did not like using that. My set the Wi Fi did not work, update is a no go so not sure if update help that but black on dark dim screen and with dark back drop for me little dimmer than I would of liked too of seen, brightness on MAX. Motion on Sony in general is usually good, plus rtings.com reviews few 4K TVs that cannot play DVD without Judder. 58" Samsung compared to this is brighter movement judder seems better on Sony. Sony 800 series I believe are better if you needed HDR. Basically when set to HDR the set sets a least it's brightness to Max. Had to change one HDMI to computer since no Wi Fi to different HDMI 3 days after use the orignal used HDMI on started up it's screen kept resetting ever 30 seconds or so! I post a The enclosed Picture was when it was connected to my HTPC I built - mainly dimmer than I would of liked, tried USB to update it failed also unable to update Tried Sony but not sure of some responses were repeats gets a little frustrating but most makers seem to respond if not from site always try Facebook if you want.
