“Is there a delay when switching channels? When using the remote to change the channel on my current tv, it takes a few seconds for the picture to actually come up. Drives me crazy.”

Hello Heyhey, thanks for bringing this up. This is a normal operation of the TV. Every time you change the channel, the TV is adjusting the signal coming from the cable box to the TV for the best quality display possibly.
