Do you need to purchases 3d glasses to watch in 3d? null

The 3D crosstalk on the 65" model is very bad, making most 3D movies unwatchable. Keep this in mind if you purchase 3D glasses.

To answer your question, this set does not come with 3D glasses. While Sony does have a pair that they recommend (Sony TDG-BT500A Active 3D Glasses), I went with an alternate, which are the 3ACTIVE 3D Glasses which I purchased on Amazon (http://a.co/2PyCmK0). They're rechargeable, come in a twin-pack and filter out the light from the sides, unlike the Sony glasses. I haven't had any issues with the 3D Crosstalk with these glasses. I've watch quite a few movies with them via 3D Blu-ray, such as Batman V Superman, Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Doctor Strange and have no complaints. Excellent 3D viewing experience with all. I actually doubt that it's the 3D glasses that are bad. The only thing I notices is that if I buy a Blu Ray 3d disc the 3d effect is weak or absent. If I burn a DVD with the intense well-defined/separated images on youtube demo clips using the 720HD setting, the 3D is excellent.. Ted
