Does Comcast support the Sony 4k tv's null

you can plug any set top box into a TV as long as you have the hdmi cord. You would have to check with your cable provider if they actually provide 4k content. Short answer is yes you can watch cable on the tv, but majority of cable companies Do NOT provide 4k content as most cable companies still only provide a 720p signal (900k pixels, opposed to the 8.3 million a 4k screen has)

Comcast does not have any 4K content as of 11/2016. Netflix does have some.

not Comcast, we have Brighthouse Networks as cable service.
