I don't believe you will be able to get rid of that. The clouding is a common issue with edge lit back lighting on LED TVs and the severness varies from panel to panel. A TV with full array backlighting won't have that, but also causes the TV to be a little thicker. I believe Sonys 940 model is full array, but it is also way more expensive. If you have your TV in a darker room, you might be able to minimize the clouding effect by keeping the brightness settings low.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would return it while it is still under the return period. I have the same tv and I have no such issues. I was told that if the screen gets too hot it can sometimes have backlight bleeding issues. If it was that way when you took it out of the box though I would definitely return it.

If the screen appears to have bright spots when there is no input or when viewing very dark scenes and you find this affects your enjoyment, there are a few adjustments that can be made to minimize this condition.
