Sony’s answering your question like a politician. The answer is no. It does not support hdmi 2.1 unfortunately.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The A8H does not appear to support full HDMI 2.1 in either the 55" or 65" models based on the detailed specs on the Sony website. It does have eARC audio which is one of the features specified in HDMI 2.1, but none of the video improvements, that I can see.

Please try again later.No and if you’re not a hardcore gamer you won’t miss it that’s why I bought this set over the CX by lg because I realized that set is geared gamers and I do game but not that seriously so what I get in terms game quality is very satisfying for me it does however have eArc for the Dolby Atmos sound.

Please try again later.Hi, mike, The A8H does support EARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel) to allow for Hi-res audio, including Dolby Atmos and DTSX, which is considered an HDMI 2.1 feature.
