A:AnswerSheri two ways to do it.
1. If your DVD player has an ARC connection then hook the HDMI from that to your TV ARC.
2. If DVD does not have ARC but you do have a Digital Optical Audio Cable input, then go from that to the TV. Since you have a really nice TV i would recommend upgrading to the Blu Ray UHD player. You'll be glad you did.
A:AnswerI shopped both of these for awhile and truly could not see much difference. Reader boards complained about the 850E stand and how TV tilts back at the top and how the stand is now made of plastic. I've seen the XBR65X850E get as low as $1099 vs the 750D at $899. I would have gotten 850E but was concerned with stand and how the TV tilted back.
Wait for March Madness I'm sure this TV will get down to $999. Make sure you get the sony HTNT5 surround system and SRS 5 wireless speakers when you purchase TV. You will be able to get it in a bundle and save close to $500. i would also recommend 2.0 HDMI cables that are HDR, 18GPS, Ultra High Definition video and audio.
A:AnswerThank you. That temperature range appears to be for operating conditions. I have an upstairs room in my garage which can go unheated. Temperatures can go to ten below zero Fahrenheit. Would that be okay for the Sony 65" TV as long as I don't turn it on until temperatures rise to normal?
A:AnswerThe TVs in the store have special settings and videos they play to 'show off' their features. You have to be sure you are watching something in 4k (or atleasat 1080i) to get the best picture. I would also recommend looking up picture settings for the model # (x750d). There are many tutorials to show you how to get the perfect picture.
A:AnswerDepends on how much you value your dollar. We studied the 750 and the 900 side-by-side, and found the picture quality to be very close, with the 900 only slightly better. We went with the 750, and are thrilled with it. The 900, in our view, was not worth the 50% increase in price.
A:AnswerHi thedave, HDR stands for High Dynamic Range. It expands the range of both contrast and color. Bright parts of the image get brighter, and the colors expand to show more bright blues, greens, reds, and everything in between. The expansion of the contrast ratio and the color palette offers a more realistic and natural picture. A:AnswerHi Marian, no, this TV only comes with a standard remote commander. Kindly email us at [email protected] if you wish to purchase the compatible voice remote commander for this TV. Regards, -Mark
A:AnswerIt took me awhile but i finally got it to work with my ATT Uverse. I have XBR65X750D with HTNT5 Surround Bar and SRS5 wireless speakers. I went TV ARC to Soundbar ARC. But everything else is plugged into TV directly, PS4, BluRAY UHD, and ATT UVERSE. Had a few issues but finally got everything to work with ATT remote. Apple TV is plugged into sound bar.
A:AnswerWe have directv as well. You can sync the TV to the box and use the guide and list from the TV remote. It is so much easier. And it makes the picture clearer than the hd was
