• no it does not, I used a y cable with RCA ends from the head phone jack. in the settings you can choose to have the tv speakers work or not work with the head phone in use

• No, it doesn't. I have an old receiver and currently I use a connection that goes from the headphone jack on the tv to the RCA red/white inputs on my receiver. It works and sounds just fine, but the full sound ability of the tv is somewhat limited this way.
