Yes. The stand angle is absurd. The other responses were not helpful at all. 1) The screws are not adjustable nor is the angle of the stand. 2) The idea that the set SHOULD be tilted up on purpose is a joke.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine sets straight. As mine sets on a large console, I attached a couple of straps to back of the set to avoid any chance of tipping. Though the stand is very sturdy.

First there is two gold screws that have to be loosen then slide the leg tabs onto the screws then hold in place while you tighten them, then put the main two screws in and make sure the leg bracket is flush with the back. Tighten main screws and it should be straight

Your line of sight when sitting is 15 degrees lower than when you're in a usual relaxed state. It's considered ergonomical to set your TV at a lower position and tilted back by a couple of degrees. This way, you'll be able to enjoy watching TV programs comfortably. Note: Your TV may become unstable if the screws that secure the TV to its stand are loosely tightened. Make sure to firmly tighten all the screws to secure the stability of your TV on its stand. ~Ralph
