QuestionWould like to mount Sony HTST5000 Sound bar on the wall, is there a specific mount that works with it. I know it should be heavy duty, can anyone recommend one that's working well for them?

- Answer No, you can’t. But, Samsung has a 7.1.4 soundbar with 2 rear speakers, if that’s what you’re looking for.

QuestionHow is this a 7.1.2 Atmos system? It's only a sub and soundbar, there are no side, rear, or far rear speakers. Seems like a 3.1.2 system at best

QuestionWith sony HT-ST5000 if multi-iroom speakers are added and used as rear speakers, will I still get Dolby Atmos? If I connect HDMI cable and optical cable (no ARC in TV) will I still get Dolby Atmos?

QuestionHi, I had this soundbar connected to my TV's only ARC HDMI socket. When I tried to play a blu-ray on my PS4 pro it said the socket wasn't HDCP 2.2 enabled. so I tried the other HDMI input's on my TV and HDMI3 worked, this is non-ARC so should i add opt?

- Answer Hi Bennn, Connect the soundbar directly to your TV using HDMI connection (ARC to ARC) then connect your HDMI devices to your soundbar. QuestionWe have a Sony HT-ST5000 and for some odd reason it automatically goes on at 4AM every morning! How do I stop this from happening!!!!!!!!

- Answer I haven't been in that situation. How ever I discovered that if you turn on tv, blueray, ps4, or even the bluetooth on the cellphone it will automatically turn on HT. If you have the bluetooth on snd pair with HT it will turn on. How ever ,I suggested to check settings snd product guide.

QuestionIs there a fix to the intermittent issues that I have read about? Low middle sound issues? input changes by itself? if you mute the tv/movie when resumes there is no sound in the sound bar and must turn off the TV to resumes sound and input?

- Answer I have had this unit for over two weeks now and have not experienced any of the issues you are having. Mine is paired with a Sony XBR75X900F TV that is synced in the settings of the TV. Contact Sony for setup instructions as they may help. From what you wrote these could be simple setup options configured wrong.

QuestionHave soundbar hooked up to my 55 in Panasonic plasma, slot 2 w/ARC. Updated all settings, pair sub, and this is not loud at all. HDMI out to ARC slot in tv is my only hook up at this time. Should it not be that way?

QuestionI want rear speakers. Is the ht5000 capable of rear or will this be possible in the future. Small ones like Bose would be great. This is for my bedroom 17 X 24. Also my ceiling is slanted 12ft from tv to 8ft where I sit, how will atmos work for that.

QuestionI have the latest Roku ultra. Connected via HDMI directly to the Sony sound bar. Samsung TV connected via arc to Sony sound bar. When watching Vudu via smart TV app, i get Dolby digital from TV to sound bar but not thru the Roku playing same movie. Help

- Answer Hello, So TV and sound bar are connected from ARC to ARC on TV and sound bar? And the Roku ultra is connected to one of the sound bar inputs? Have you tried a different cable? I have my Apple TV 4K, Sony PlayStation Pro and Switch connected to my sound and I'm getting 4k from Apple and PlayStation. I did have to set my Sony input to Enhanced so maybe a similar setting needs to be checked on your Samsung. Good luck! Ken

- Answer Mine did not have one, though highly recommend it with a Sony TV AND Sony 4 k player the one remote for all devices is worth the purchase alone.
