QuestionDoes this receiver's power cord use a 3 prong, grounded connection? I just bought the 750 version and its power cable is not grounded, and my sub is humming like crazy. Have had a ton of trouble eliminating the ground loop.

QuestionOptical connectionI understand HDMI transmit both audio and video. Also I was told you can get a better sound when using the optical/digital output. Can I connect both the HDMI and the optical/digital cables?

- Answer Digital is Digital (HDMI transmits digitally). That being said HDMI will transmit as good of a signal as the optical input. But to answer your question Yes you can have both.

- Answer I believe that the receiver has an impedance range of 6-16 ohms, so your speakers are way low and may cause damage to the power amp.
