“Does this receiver's power cord use a 3 prong, grounded connection? I just bought the 750 version and its power cable is not grounded, and my sub is humming like crazy. Have had a ton of trouble eliminating the ground loop.”

Hi Leybourne, The Sony STRDN860 receiver is using 2 prong power cord. -Anthony

Most electron units are only 2 prong.

I am also having this problem. My sub is humming. I thought it was a problem with the settings but now that you mention the ground, I wonder what we do to fix it. Maybe someone will provide a good alternative that eliminates the "humming."
